- Directions:
- *First things first -we are going to decorate our Popsicle stick friends.
* Use the Sharpie markers to draw on faces, some hair, a bathing suit etc.
* Once done decorating the popsicle stick, grab a pipe cleaner
* Curl it around the center of your decorated popsicle stick and bend it upward to look like arms.
* Set aside your newly made friend.
* Now grab your blue paper and glue
* Next grab your cupcake liner. Flatten it with your hands and cut out a small circle from the center of it.
* Go ahead and glue the “pool float” to the center of your blue paper
* To finish the popsicle stick pool friends, glue your decorated friend pieces to the center of the paper and cupcake liner float. You want it to look like she is floating and relaxing with her arms up.
Shaving Cream Fireworks
Materials: Shaving Cream, Red and Blue Paint or Food Coloring, Toothpicks, Paper, Pan with Low Sides, Stiff Paper or Cardboard
1. Start by filling up the pan with shaving cream.
2. Use the stiff paper or cardboard to smooth out the shaving cream.
3. Drop red and blue paint or food coloring in dots all over the shaving cream.
4.Take a toothpick and start in the center drawing straight out. After doing so, you can use one drop of the opposite color in the middle for a cool, two-tone firework.
5. When all the fireworks are done, lay the paper on the shaving cream and pat very gently to make a print. Let it set a minute and you might see the paint soaking into the paper from the other side. Gently peel the paper off of the shaving cream.
6.Use a clean side of your stiff paper or cardboard to scrape off the excess shaving cream from the paper.
